Learn the basics of outdoor rock climbing at any of the 6 spectacular outdoor climbing locations. The Intro to Outdoor RockClimbing trip is designed for first time climbers (no indoor or outdoor experience) and for those who would like to transition from indoor gym climbing to climbing on real rock in the great outdoors. The Intro trips are also good for intermediate climbers as the guides setup a multitude of easy, medium and hard climbs.
The Intro trip runs frequently and is usually on the calendar at least once every weekend April – October. We try to schedule the Intro trip at different locations each weekend, giving you the opportunity to climb the VTS 6-crag circuit.
You will have ample opportunity to put to practice your newly acquired skills as you top-rope climb cliffs of various heights on a multitude of routes with unique rock types and features.
TRIP DETAILS
Pricing: $65
- 5 climbers required to run the course. However, if there are less than 5 climbers, we can run the course with the below pricing schedule. The advantage is more personal time with the instructor. Since we understand that the increase in cost can be a barrier, refunds and rescheduling options are available for climbers who do not want to go on the trip with less than 5 climbers.
- 4 climbers - $75/climber
- 3 climbers - $95/climber
- 2 climbers - $130/climber
- 1 climber - $240
Trip Length: 1 Day | 9:00 a.m. - 3:30 p.m.
Trip Size: 1:6 guide to client ratio with a maximum of 12 clients.
