22 Waterfall Wonder Hike
In under three hours you will find in Philadelphia’s backyard the awe inspiring Ricketts Glen State Park and be transported to a waterfall wonderland. We will hike the challenging 7.2 mile long Falls Trail and explore the Glens Natural Area, a designated National Natural Landmark, which boasts a series of 22 wild, free-flowing waterfalls, each cascading through rock-strewn clifts in this ancient hillside.
We will enjoy snacks throughout the day and a BYO lunch along the trail next to a misty sun-glimmering waterfall. We will literally soak up the beauty of the numerous waterfalls, including the 94-foot Ganoga Falls-the highest of the 22 named waterfalls. Ricketts Glen State Park is one of the most scenic areas in Pennsylvania.
