Wilderness Guide, Rock Climbing Lead Guide, Wilderness First Responder/CPR, AMGA Single Pitch Instructor, AMGA Climbing Wall Instructor

Eric’s passion for outdoor activities started at a young age through family camping and sailing trips. At Slippery Rock University, Eric got involved with the University Outdoor Adventure Club, which sparked the development of more technical outdoor skills. Eric has worked in a range of outdoor related jobs over the last 15 years, from challenge course construction/training to wilderness excursions. He has worked extensively with at-risk youth, summer camps, college students and corporate groups. Eric enjoys guiding people through new experiences and challenges.

Currently, Eric works full-time as the program coordinator for Yellow Breeches Educational Center. YBEC is a private academic school that uses a highly adventure based curriculum to reach special education students with emotional problems that are at risk of failing in the traditional academic setting.
