Rock Climbing Lead Guide, AMGA Single Pitch Instructor, AMGA Climbing Wall Instructor & Provider, Assistant Director for Outdoor Adventure at University of Pennsylvania, Wilderness Guide, Wilderness First Responder/CPR, Leave No Trace Trainer

Jason has been working in the outdoor industry since 1999 and instructing and guiding Outdoor Adventures since 2004. He has worked at several universities instructing or guiding courses in Rock Climbing, Backpacking, Winter Camping, Cross Country Skiing and Mountaineering. Jason and his family recently relocated to the Philadelphia region for his new job as the Outdoor Adventure Coordinator at University of Pennsylvania. He has also worked as a guide at several wilderness therapy programs. Jason’s great passion for the outdoors led him to start and operate a non-profit called the Allegheny Outdoor Institute, with the mission to provide underprivileged populations the opportunity to experience the power of nature through outdoor activities, education and therapy. Jason is excited to now pursue this mission through Valley to Summit.
